Deceptive, oppressive, mad regime,

Taken inside the demons eye, Fixed upon a broken sky, realized,
Pull the thorn from your side, and stitch your wounds, before you die
Choke it down until i choke myself to death,
Living, breathing chunks of bleeding flesh,
Tasting of the telling smoke, to suffocate what matters most,
Masks are cracking, souls reacting, spinning towards this,
Guilt nailed into my skull, i fall, down the cluttered road,
Retold, suffering this oath
I'm reaching for hope

Screeching, lowered into it, drifting towards fruition,
A manic state, debate, as you have any say,
Commands fall to spite, elements of love, burn and ignite,
When the face is lost, unrecognized,
This can't go on another night, alright
Bleed for this, taken astray, traces of decay,
Unbearable reality, abrupt truth, you won't believe,
Broken over these things, you won't believe
These teeth, will shatter like the rest,
Forced hand, put it to the test,
Forgotten empathy, all I can see

Decisive, endangerment, playing by the rules, inheritance
Traditional, contradiction, maintains ignorant position,
Before your eyes, truth will bloom, despite the cries, festered womb,
Fearing the question, see right through,
Common sense leads to disprove,
Up against the invisible wall,
Binds the hands of us all,
Fabricate control and herd the sheep towards the cliffs to fall.
Soulless beings, carnivorous lies, authority, eternal crimes
Snakes rise to power, saints set to burn,
The more you hear, the less you learn,
Righteousness, eludes the poor,
God's graces fall to those with more,
Kill your brother, divine mandate,
A hail of bullets to absolve their hate
God is coming down the mountain, shaking his fucking head in disgust, his creation malformed, gone astray.
Intended purpose raped, for the carnal reality we've manufactured.
This was all a mistake.

Ancient lamentations, the same story over again,
Reasons to justify, motives to sin,
Focus to know the undertow, influence grows,
Ages to learn, seconds to choose,
Acts of impulse, bound to loose,
Tantalus, the decided path,
Mistaken thoughts, answered by wrath,
Illusions of ecstasy, for the blood of the calf,
Divine sorcery boiled down to simple math
Alien sensations, the drop of your guard,
Mixtures beckon madness, inebriation turned to art,
Resistant voices, echo, conscious defending,
Convinced it's love, i was only pretending.
Chemically altered, computed emotions,
Synthetic divinity, Lysergic potions,
Just a mirage, a trick of the mind,
Gaze to the sun, along with the blind,
Blasphemy, enlightenment, delusional muse,
Frying my circuits, blowing a fuse.
Here and gone, never get it back,
How many hits? Stop keeping track,
Warped and cracked, dead flesh turning black,
Sanity's trap door, the sneak attack.
Sneak attack, Never get it back,
The ancient lamentation.

Before the sun comes around, twilight,
All encompassing resound,
Frail and flawed, broken bodies abound,
Stealthily expiration is found,
Common man will no longer stand,
We rot underneath excavated hollow land,
Riches cannot save that which turns to sand,
Lessons learned in spite of the ticking hands
The child ages into weathered form,
Shaped by this world, imprinted scorn,
Neglected joys, shadowed by fear,
Time slips through fingers, clutching so dear,
Wasted years, reflected to your mind,
Immutable flow, chronological shackles bind,
Take the time, truly see what's left behind,
Taken for granted as the coil unwinds
Ever ending, message pending,
Look right past what still needs mending,
Spiral ends within itself, never seen, never helped,
Torn between dreams and life, present time before your eyes,
Painted sky transparent guise, can't deny the end, the end of life,
At which point did we stop gazing towards the sun?
At which point did eyes become fixed upon the grave?
The air is clean, the trees alive, and yet we cannot be satisfied.
